Syngenta Seeds, Inc., formerly Northrup King Co. and Novartis Seeds Inc., houses furniture inventory from several different manufacturers in multiple Upper Midwest locations. Brownsworth provides planning, design and specifications, and recommendations for the most efficient use of their existing and new product for each location.
Empi Inc.
Empi made a strategic decision to consolidate two locations to one corporate headquarters. The two locations were the outcome of a business unit purchase from another med-tech firm, resulting in more than one manufacturer of furniture systems. Despite Empi's long term relationship with a particular manufacturer and dealer, they hired Brownsworth to provide specifications and assist in procurement of their new furnishings. Empi awarded the furniture systems order to the manufacturer and dealer they had a longstanding relationship with, but at a net savings of 16.5%.
