Blue Cross/United Properties
A division of United Properties (UP) called Real Estate Services, serves as an outsource facility management resource to various United Properties clients including Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Minnesota. Brownsworth competed for Blue Cross's MAC-related service contract and was selected in September 2002. Brownsworth's comprehensive plan recommended a permanent Brownsworth project manager be an integral member of the United Properties / Blue Cross team. Brownsworth assisted with process development to expedite over 1500 annual work order requests. Brownsworth's onsite team of five also re-organized 15,000 square feet of warehouse space and sold off redundant inventory. Over the two years of the relationship, the per workstation Move, Add and Change cost has been reduced by 25%.
GMAC RFC
Minneapolis is home to GMAC RFC's national headquarters for residential funding of mortgages and automotive loans. This client relationship began as a single design project and now involves the daily placement of a 2-5 person installation team and two designers on-site. Brownsworth also manages their on-site inventory of 400 workstations and coordinates large projects with facility staff.
