A client since 1977, ING and its predecessor companies, has had a continuous on-site foreman since the early '80's. Initially Brownsworth was contracted to install Steelcase product. The largest project was over a four-day weekend with 220 workstations torn down and re-installed. On any given day since, several MACs ("Moves, Adds and Changes") are common. Brownsworth is heavily involved with inventory management, and all billing is customized to match service request forms.
Best Buy
After Best Buy moved into their new corporate headquarters, Brownsworth and two other competing furniture management companies were asked to present its capabilities. A comprehensive presentation inclusive of Field Training and Warehouse Management won Brownsworth the opportunity for a number of reconfiguration projects, as well as the role of overload for Best Buy's internal team of installers.
